In business since 1987 and incorporated in 1994, Stein Mechanical began with two engineers who became skilled Construction Project Managers and close friends. 

 

Striking out on their own, they provided design, general contracting, and project management services to large corporations, mainly Fortune 500 companies in Foods and Chemicals. One focused on design-build projects for everything from one-off packaging machinery to clean rooms, while the other focused on industrial and commercial HVAC. From steel, plastics and adhesives, to cereals and baked goods, our reputation for excellence grew and one of the major  equipment manufacturers we worked with asked us to enter the residential sector on their behalf.

Today, our business involves very little industrial work. Frankly, large projects, while rewarding, required a lot of travel and that got old trying to raise families. We do mostly residential and commercial work today, staying close to home here in Northeast Ohio.
